Our Story

Paneltec was established in early 2017 in response to growing demand for a compliant aluminium façade panel system tailored specifically to the New Zealand market. From the outset, the focus was on supplying high-quality, proven aluminium façade solutions that combined performance, durability, and design flexibility.

Building on products that had already demonstrated long-term success in comparable international markets, Paneltec undertook extensive additional testing to ensure all systems met and exceeded New Zealand Building Code requirements. This commitment to compliance and performance laid the foundation for Paneltec’s reputation for reliability and technical excellence.

As the business evolved, Paneltec expanded its range to include innovative façade solutions such as extruded aluminium panels and high-quality, through-colour compressed fibre cement panels, offering architects and developers greater design freedom across a wide variety of applications.

Today, Paneltec continues to invest in its own in-house development and technical team, focused on refining existing systems and introducing new, high-quality, low-maintenance products. This ongoing innovation supports the creation of distinctive, durable, and iconic buildings throughout New Zealand.
